Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This photo I made at the beginning of April, when we all started to realize that 'just an ordinary flu' was in fact a nasty virus whit a huge impact, that would change our world as we knew it...And instantly my happy-happy-joy-joy photos turned into dark, moody images. Not the usual tooth cracking sweet innocence in friendly pastels, but blackness instead. That's how photography works for me, it absorbs my emotions and spit it out into pixels.
I'm a Dutch female self-employed photographer, former (web)dedesigner and Art Therapist, with a deep love for anything that breaths. My main goal is to express myself through photography and share the beauty as I see and experience it. I have a strong preference for 'happy animals', animals that are completely at ease.
